Application value of cervical low position water bag in full-term pregnancy |

Abstract Objective To explore the application value of cervical low position water bag(LPWB)in full-term pregnancy. Methods From August 2015 to October 2016,120 pregnant women with full-term pregnancy received treatment in our hospital were selected as objects.According to different labor induction,they were divided into research group and control group.The LPWB was used in the research group for labor induction,while in the control group,oxytocin was applied.The delivery mode,effect of labor induction,total stage of labor,intrapartum bleeding and postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal asphyxia rate,effective rate of cervical ripening and so on between two groups were compared.Results In the research group,after 6 h,12 h,and 24 h therapy,the score of improving cervical ripening by Bishop was obviously higher than that in the control group with a statistical difference(P<0.01).The total effective rate of facilitating cervical ripening was 81.67%,and the rate in the control group was 60.00%with a statistical difference after comparison(χ2=6.8168, P<0.05).There were significant difference of labor induction to time in labor in pregnant women with vaginal delivery and total stage of labor in both groups(P<0.05).With regard to postpartum bleeding,it had no great difference displayed (P>0.05).In comparison of neonatal Apgar score in the research group and control group,and there was no statistical difference (P>0.05).Conclusion Cervical LPWB applied in full-term pregnancy can facilitate cervical ripening,speed up the cervical dilatation,shorten the labor time with higher induction rate and safety,and it can effectively decrease the probability of cesarean section,promote natural childbirth,alleviate damage in mother and child,reduce the bleeding during and after delivery,which is worthy of promotion and application in clinic.
