Clinical effect of unilateral coronal suture with frontal approach resection treating brain tumor |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of unilateral coronal suture with frontal approach resection treating brain tumor.Methods 18 patients with brain tumor treated in our hospital from July 2014 to June 2016 were selected.Patients were divided into the observation group and control group according to treatment method,and each group had 9 cases.The observation group was given unilateral coronal suture with frontal approach resection treatment,and the control group was given general resection.The treatment effect between the two groups was compared.Results The excellent rate in observation group was 88.89%,which was higher than that of the control group (44.44%) (P<0.05).The neurologic impairment score in the observation group was lower than that of the control group after treatment (P<0.05).The recurrence rate in the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the recurrence time was longer than that of the control group,and recovery time was shorter than of the control group (P<0.05).The total complications rate in observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Unilateral coronal suture with frontal approach resection treating brain tumor can effectively improve neurologic impairment,decrease recurrence time and enhance treatment effect.
