Analysis of the influence of fire scene simulation and cognitive training on peripheral blood of primary school students |

Abstract Objective To analyze the influence of practical exercise with or without fire scene simulation and cognitive training on the peripheral blood of primary school students of grade five.Methods Altogether 90 primary school students of grade five in June 2016 were selected from a primary school and divided into three groups according to their gender and age:control group and experiment group (untrained group and training group).venous blood (2 ml) was collected by using EDTA-K2 anticoagulant tube from each primary school student of control group and experiment group who participated in the practical exercise and was analyzed by using mindray BC-5390 automatic blood cell analyzer to acquire the white blood cell (WBC) count,neutrophil percentage,lymphocyte percentage,monocytes percentage,red blood cell (RBC ) count and platelet count.Results ①WBC count,neutrophil percentage,RBC count and platelet count of untrained group were significantly higher than those of control group with statistically significant difference (P<0.05),while the lymphocyte percentage and monocytes percentage of untrained group were significantly lower than those of control group with statistically significant difference (P<0.01).②WBC count,neutrophil percentage,RBC count and platelet count of untrained group were higher than those of training group with statistically significant difference (P<0.05),while the lymphocyte percentage and monocytes percentage of untrained group were significantly lower than those of training group with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).③The neutrophil percentage was negatively correlated with the lymphocyte percentage (r=-0.980,P<0.01).④WBC count,neutrophil percentage,lymphocyte percentage,monocytes percentage,RBC count and platelet count of training group had no statistically significant difference in contrast with control group (P>0.05).Conclusion Practical exercise after fire scene simulation and cognitive training plays an important role in maintaining the stability of peripheral blood indexes for primary school students.
