Experimental observation on the influence of Shenmai Injection on blood flow function in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease |

Abstract Objective To observe the influence of Shenmai Injection on blood flow function in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease.Methods 124 patients (volunteers) with chronic pulmonary heart disease treated in department of clinical laboratory of our hospital from January 2014 to November 2015 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group.62 cases of control group were treated with conventional western medicine treatment such as control infection,strong heart,diuretic,smooth wheezing expectorant,low flow oxygen,correct electrolyte and acid-base balance disorder and so on.The experimental group (n=62) was treated with conventional western medicine combined Shen-mai Injection.The course of the treatment were 14 days.Blood flow function indexes (blood rheology,haematocrit and fibrinogen) were determined before and after treatment in two groups.Results After treatment,the whole blood high shear reductive viscosity [(7.86±1.28),(7.71±1.11) mPa·s] whole blood low shear reduction viscosity [(54.96±9.43),(49.00±4.51) mPa·s],plasma viscosity [(1.88±0.28),(1.43±0.18) mPa·s],fibrinogen [(2.50±1.11),(2.05±1.13) g/L] and hematocrit[(0.45±0.09),(0.43±0.04) L/L] in control group and experimental group were improved compared with before treatmenrt (P<0.05).The treatment group showed the improved significantly better than the control group except the whole blood high shear reductive viscosity (P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of conventional western medicine treatment,Shenmai Injection added treating chronic pulmonary heart disease can obviously improve blood flow function indexes of patients,and it may be has an positive meaning for long term stablely control of patients′ condition and reduce the occurrence of complications.
