| Nursing efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with acute gastroenteritis |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore nursing efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with acute gastroenteritis.MethodsAltogether 50 patients with acute gastroenteritis patients who were treated in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random distribution principle,with 25 cases in each group.Patients in two groups were both treated with conventional therapy,including intestinal infections and regulation of water and electrolyte balance.On the basis of conventional therapy,the control group was given conventional nursing,while the observation group was given comprehensive nursing intervention.The nursing efficacy,length of hospital stays and patients′nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.ResultsThe total nursing effective rate in the observation group(92.0%)was higher than that in the control group(64.0%),the length of hospital stays[(3.42±1.27)d]was shorter than that in the control group[(7.14±1.14) d],the patients′nursing satisfaction(96.0%)was higher than that in the control group(60.0%),and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionComprehensive nursing intervention has better nursing effect for acute gastroenteritis patients,can improve nursing efficacy,shorten length of hospital stays,increase the patients′nursing satisfaction,which makes better recovery of the patients′conditions and can be popularized and applied clinically.
