Analysis of the repair and cosmetic effect of dot matrix CO2laser in the treatment of pitting acne scar |

Abstract Objectives To study the repair and cosmetic effect of dot matrix CO2laser in the treatment of pitting acne scar.Methods100 cases of pitting acne scar from March 2014 to March 2015 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional laser therapy,while the observation group was treated with dot matrix CO2laser.Then splash area,scar size,ECCA score,quality of life,curative effect of the two groups were compared.ResultsThe splash area and scar area after treatment of the observation group was less than that of the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).ECCA score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The score of self perception,social function,emotional function of the observation group was better than that of the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with significant difference (P<0.05).ConclusionThe dot matrix CO2laser is effective in the treatment of pitting acne scars,and can effectively improve the patient′s concave scar,and can obtain satisfactory cosmetic results.
