Objective To investigate the effect of puerperal nutrition and health education on postpartum pecovery of parturients. Methods A total of 210 cases of parturients in our hospital from January 2015 to April 2016 were selected by random sampling method，all were randomly divided into observation group and control group，105 cases in each group.The control group was received routine nursing intervention in puerperium，the observation group was received nutrition and health education on the basis of routine nursing.The fundal height，lochia discharge amount，lactation amount at 5 days postpartum，the prevalence of postpartum between the two groupswere compared.Results The postpartum fundal height in observation group was significantly lower than that of control group，the lochia discharge amount was significantly less than that of control group，the lactation amount was significantly more than than that of control group，the differences were statistically significant（P＜0.05）.The prevalence of postpartum such as postpartum depression，breast pain and infection in observation group was significantly lower than that of control group（P＜0.05）.Conclusion The reasonable puerperal nutrition and health education can improve the puerperal knowledge of parturients，promote the postpartum pecovery and reduce the prevalence of postpartum，it isworthy to be popularized in clinical application.
