Effect of Live Combined Bacillus Subtilis and Enterococcus Faecium Granules with Multivitamines on mannan-binding protein level of the infants with rotavirus enteritis

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of Live Combined Bacillus Subtilis and Enterococcus Faecium Granules with Multivitamines(Medilac-Vita)on mannan-binding protein level of the infants with rotavirus enteritis.Methods Forty infants with ratavirus enteritis admitted by our hospital from August 2014 to March 2016 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups,each with 20 cases.The children in the control group were given only routine treatment,the children of the observation group were treated with Medilac-Vita and routine treatment,and the 20 infants who underwent health examination in the hospital were selected as healthy group at the same time.Changes in MBP levels were compared before and after the treatment of three groups.Results Before treatment,the MBP of the observation group and the control group were compared with the healthy group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,the MBP of the observation group was compared with the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The MBP was compared before and after treatment in the observation group and control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The MBP was compared before and after treatment in the healthy group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Raravirus enteritis can cause the decline of MBP level in sera.With the cure of raravirus enteritis,MBP increases gradually.Medilac-Vita has no direct effect on MBP,however Medilac-Vita has obvious curative effect on the treatment of raravirus enteritis and can strengthen immune system of infants with raravirus enteritis,which is worthy of being applied in clinical practice.
