Abstract:Objective To observe the safety and feasibility of hydrocolloid dressing+pressure therapy in the prevention and treatment of scar after extremities burn. Methods A total of 50 patients with deep Ⅱdegree burn wounds in the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from May 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and treatment group by the random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ordinary gauze dressing+pressure therapy, while the treatment group was treated with hydrocolloid dressing+pressure therapy. The pain degree of dressing change, residual wound healing time, dressing change times and Vancouver scar scale score between the two groups were compared. Results The pain degree of dressing change in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The residual wound healing time in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, and the dressing change times was less than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of Vancouver scar scale in the treatment group at 4 and 12 weeks after treatment were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Hydrocolloid dressing applied to pressure therapy after extremities burn can accelerate the residual wound healing, improve the comfort of patients, and improve the compliance of patients with pressure therapy, the efficacy is positive.
