Abstract:Objective To observe the antispasmodic and analgesic effect of Atropine combined with Phloroglucinol before hysterosalpingography (HSG).Methods Totally 138 patients (246 fallopian tubes) with infertility who underwent HSG from November 2018 to November 2019 in Outpatient of Taishan People′s Hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into three groups by the random number table method. The Atropine group (46 cases,82 fallopian tubes)was injected with Atropine intramuscularly before HSG,the Phloroglucinol group(46 cases,83 fallopian tubes)was injected with Phloroglucinol intramuscularly before HSG,and the combined group (46 cases,81 fallopian tubes)was injected with Phloroglucinol combined with Atropine intramuscularly before HSG.The HSG examination time, contrast medium dosage, pain degree, cervical softening, and fallopian tube patency of the three groups were recorded, and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the three groups was compared. Results The cervical softening rate of the combined group was 97.83%,higher than that of the Phloroglucinol group and the Atropine group accounting for 89.13% and 80.43%,respectively,the cervical softening rate of the Phloroglucinol group was higher than that of the Atropine group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The patency rate of the fallopian tubes in the combined group and the Phloroglucinol group was 75.31% and 69.88%,both higher than that in the Atropine group accounting for 60.98%,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The score of visual analogue scale(VAS) in the combined group was lower than that in the Phloroglucinol group and the Atropine group, and the VAS score in the Phloroglucinol group was lower than that in the Atropine group, with statistical significances (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the combined group and Phloroglucinol group was 19.57% and 13.04%,respectively,which was lower than 32.61% in the Atropine group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the HSG examination time and contrast medium dosage of the three groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The application of Atropine combined with Phloroglucinol before HSG can further soften the cervix and alleviate pain without increasing adverse reactions. It is recommended for promotion.
