Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the ultrasonic testing results of patients with premature ovarian failure(POF)and to test their ovarian hormone levels.MethodsFrom January 2016 to July 2017,50 patients with POF examined in our hospital were classified into observation group.Meanwhile,50 normal married women who came to our hospital for physical examinations during the same period were categorized into control group. The difference of ovarian ultrasound examination results was observed and the difference of ovarian hormone levels was determined.ResultsThe size of uterus and ovary, endometrium and concrete number of ovarian follicle were were significantly lower in the observation group than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Meanwhile,ultrasound detection results displayed high echo in ovary in the observation group, and low echo of ovary in the control group. The peak blood flow velocity of ovarian artery and the minimal blood flow velocity in end-diastole in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the resistance index and beat index in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of serum estradiol in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone were significantly higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with normal married women, there are remarkable differences in ultrasound features and ovarian hormone levels in POF patients, such as reduction of uterine and ovarian volume, decrease of follicular amount, peak blood flow velocity of ovarian artery, serum estradiol level, and increase of follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone levels, and so forth.
