Effect of intensive nursing in wound care of senile patients with diabetic foot

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of intensive nursing in elderly patients with diabetic foot wounds.Methods From October 2016 to October 2017,80 patients with diabetic foot in outpatient department of our hospital were selected and divided into control group and experimental group with 40 patients in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing.Patients in the experimental group received meticulous nursing.The difference of nursing satisfaction and anxiety score between the two groups was compared.Results The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before nursing intervention,there was no significant difference in anxiety score between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing intervention,the anxiety score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before nursing,there was no significant difference in foot condition between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing,the improvement degree of foot condition in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Elderly patients with diabetic foot Intensive nursing intervention can improve the patient satisfaction rate of nursing work,effectively improve their psychological status and promote the alleviation of the patient′s condition,it is worth promoting the application.
