Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of partial pulpotomy and traditional pulpotomy in treating young permanent teeth crown pulp. Methods 60 young permanent teeth patients with exposed pulps in crown fracture(68 sick teeth)from July 2011 to July 2014 of our hospital were respectively analyzed.Patients were randomly divided into two groups experimental group and control group, and each group was 30 cases(34 sick teeth).Patients in experimental group were treated with partial pulpotomy of Cvek method, patients in control group was treated with traditional routine pulpotomy. The clinical effect was compared between two groups.Tooth disease examination, pulp vitality test, root development status of tooth, situation of inside and outside absorption and root canal calcification and pathological changes situation of root tip were routine observed 2 weeks,1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation. Results The success rate in experimental group was higher than that of control group, the success rate in experimental group and control group were respectively 94.1%and 88.2%,and the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05).It was found that root development status of tooth in experimental group was better than that of control group at postoperative reexamination, and the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion Both of partial pulpotomy and traditional pulpotomy can effectively cure the young permanent teeth with exposed pulps in crown fracture, but the clinical prognosis effect is good in the former and can promote the root development.
