Abstract：Objective To study the therapeutic effect of complete colon resection for colon cancer resection. Methods 160 patients with colon cancer who were diagnosed in our hospital from September 2014 to September 2015 were selected and divided into two groups.The control group（n＝80）was treated with conventional surgical resection,while the treatment group（n＝80）was given complete resection of the colon.Curative effect,clinical indicators and survival rate of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The effective rate of the treatment group was 80.00％,the control group was 56.25％;the average bleeding volume in the treatment group was（144.36±54.56）ml,the number of lymph nodes was 35,the average bleeding volume in the control group was（362.33±67.81）ml,the number of lymph nodes was 14;the survival rate of the treatment group after 3 years was 75.00％,the local recurrence rate was 5.00％,the rates of control group were 63.75％and 30.00％;there were 3 cases of postoperative infection,3 cases of residual tumors in the treatment group,6 cases of postoperative infection,6 cases of anastomotic leakage,12 cases of residual tumor residual in the control group,the differences were all statistically significant（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Complete colon resection for colon cancer resection is the greatest extent to remove the lymph nodes,improve the long-term effect and improve the quality of life of patients.
