Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of endoscopic nasal cavity lacrimal sac anastomosis in the treatment of congenital lacrimal sac mucous cyst. Methods 69 cases with congenital lacrimal sac mucus cyst treated by our hospital from February 2014 to July 2015 were selected and given statistical analysis.According to the treatment methods, they were divided into the control group(34 cases)and the observation group(35 cases).Patients in the control group were treated with conventional ophthalmic surgery, while patients in the observation group were given endoscopic nasal cavity lacrimal sac anastomosis.Treatment effect between two groups was observed and compared. Results The total effective rate of control group was 73.5%,while it was 100.0%in the observation group, the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).After patients were followed-up for 6 months, there was narrowing stoma, unobstructed lacrimal duct, and there was no granulation growth, scar reducing.Treatment satisfaction in the control group was 61.8%,the observation group was 94.3%,and the satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The clinical effect of endoscopic nasal cavity lacrimal sac anastomosis in the treatment of congenital lacrimal sac mucus cyst is prominent, and it is worth popularizing.
