Abstract：Spectrum analysis course as one of the most difficult courses to learn in pharmacy major aims at analyzing the compound structure by spectrum.The course mixes with other courses like instrumental analysis,pharmaceutical chemistry,organic chemistry,physical chemistry and so on.The course plays a unique role in cultivating application skills and innovation ability for medical elites.In the process of teaching practice,aspects including stimulation of learning interest,optimization of teaching contents,multimediateaching,multiple teaching approaches,and optimization of evaluation system were discussed and summarized,which improved teaching effect.Through learning the course,the abilities to analyze and solve problems are developed in medical students.
