Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of teaching method based on the clinical pathway in the standardized training of hospitalized physicians in respiratory department.MethodsFrom August 2014 to June 2017,235 hospitalized doctors who participated in the training of respiratory medicine in PLA General Hospital were randomly divided into experimental group(n=118)and control group(n=117)according to the entry time.In the experimental group,the mode of clinical pathway teaching was used,and in the control group,traditional teaching mode was applied.The score of professional theoretical knowledge,clinical skills,case analysis ability,and patients′satisfaction degree were compared between the two groups after department.ResultsIn the experimental group,the score of case analysis ability and clinical skills were both higher than those in the control group([91.56±4.32]points vs.[82.26±5.81]points;[87.83±3.25]points vs.[81.77±4.57]points),which were both displayed statistical differences(P<0.05).The scores of professional theoretical knowledge was(85.54±5.78)points and(82.41±6.22)points in the experimental group and control group respectively,which was not displayed a great difference (P>0.05).The total satisfaction degree of the resident doctors in the experimental group(88.4%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(75.5%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe teaching method based on clinical pathway can obviously improve the abilities of clinical record analysis and skill operation as well as patients′satisfaction degree,and is beneficial to cultivate the clinical thinking of resident doctors,and is worthy of further promotion in clinical teaching.
