Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Home-Made Bushen Shugan Decoction on treating climacteric syndrome.Methods From February 2011 to February 2015,253 female cases of climacteric syndrome treated in our department were selected randomly divided into the control group(123 cases)and the observation group(130 cases).The control group was treated with routine western medicine,the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese herbal medicines with the actions of nourishing the kidneys and soothing the liver.The therapeutic effect,symptomaticimprovement,and blood biochemical indicators in the two groups were compared.Results The therapeutic effective rate in the observation group was 94.62%,which was higher than that in the control group (71.54%),with significant difference (P<0.05).The symptomatic scores of traditional Chinese medicine including tidal fever and sweating,vexation and irrigation,distending pain in the chest and ribs,heart vexation and insomnia,and generalized weakness,etc.after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The level of folliclestimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,and lipid peroxidation after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the levels of E2,β-endorphin,and interleukin-2 after treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Self-Made Bushen Shugan Decoction on treating climacteric syndrome can obtain a remarkable clinical effect,it is effective in relieving symptoms and regulating endocrine,and has positive clinical significance.
