Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect difference of Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment and Iodine Glycerin in the treatment of acute pericoronitis. Methods 98 patients with acute pericoronitis who were treated in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were chosed and divided into control group (n=49)and observation group (n=49) according to the parity of ID number. The control group was given Iodine Glycerin, the observation group was given Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment. The therapeutic efficiency rate and change of flora in pericoronitis before and after treatment were compared between two groups. Results All the patients completed treatment,in the comparison of therapeutic effects, the therapeutic efficiency rate(93.9%)after treatment in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(79.6%)(P<0.05);in the comparison of changes of flora, the bacteria density,G-proportion, spirochete proportion in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and G+proportion was higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment is effective for acute pericoronitis patients, with more effective control of inflammation infection and better treatment effect than Iodine Glycerin, which is worthy of a further application in clinical treatment.
