Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of iron therapy in treatment of iron-deficiency anemia(IDA).Methods70 child-bearing women with IDA treated in our hospital from April 2015 to November 2016 were selected as object and they were randomly divided into two groups, and there were 35 cases in each group.Control group was given Iron Dextran Injection, while observation group was given intravenous injection of Iron Sucrose Injection. The reticulated corpuscles(RC)count, hemoglobin content changes and hemorheology index changes between two groups before and after treatment were compared.ResultsBefore treatment, there was no statistical difference in the percentage of RC count, hemoglobin content and hemorheology (P>0.05),after treatment, the percentage of RC count of observation group reached its peak 7 d after treatment, which was larger than that of control group, and 9 d after treatment, the percentage of RC count of control group reached its peak, which was larger than that of observation group (P<0.05).After treatment, the hemoglobin content and hematocritg of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group, plasma viscosity, whole blood viscosity in high-shear,whole blood viscosity in low-shear,erythrocyte sedimentation rate, fibrinogen levels were lower than control group(P<0.05).ConclusionIron therapy plays an important role in treatment of IDA and it improves patients′hemorheology and anemia status, which is worthy of promotion in clinical application.
