Abstract:Objectiveto discuss the effect of eccentric exercise (EE),extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT)and combined use treating lateral epicondylitis.Methods60 cases with lateral epicondylitis treated in our hospital from March 2015 to May 2015 were selected and they were randomly divided into the three groups according to the voluntary of patients:ESWT treatment group,EE joint ESWT treatment group,EE treatment group, and each group had 20 patients respectively. Before treatment and in 2 weeks after treatment, visual analogue scale (visual analogue scale,VAS) was used to compare the treatment effect of various groups.Results2 weeks after treatment,VAS score of the three groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).The total effective rate of ESWT treatment group (68.42%)and EE treatment group(70.59%)was significantly lower than that of EE combined with ESWT treatment group(94.74%), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe effect of EE combined with ESWT treatment is significant, and it can be promoted and applied in clinic.
