Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effects of short segment pedicle screw fixation in treatment of non-adjacent multi segmental spinal fractures.Methods80 cases of non-contiguous spinal fractures in our hospital of Department of orthopedics ward from January 2015 to January 2017 were selected and randomly divided into the reference group and the study group,40 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with long segmental pedicle screw fixation, while the study group was treated with short segment pedicle screw fixation. Then, the treatment condition and clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed.ResultsThe operation time of the study group was shorter than that of the reference group, and the amount of bleeding of the study group was less than that of the reference group, with significant difference (P<0.05).The incidence rate of postoperative complications in the study group was lower than that in the reference group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The Frankel grade of the study group was better than that of the reference group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The anterior height ratio of the injured vertebrae after operation in the study group was higher than that of the reference group, and the Cobb angle after operation in the study group was smaller than that of the reference group, with significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical treatment effects of short segment pedicle screw fixation in the treatment of non-adjacent multi segmental spinal fractures is significant, the safety is high,it is worth learning.
