Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of anterior inversion position combined with lateral release position in the correction of breech presentation. Methods A total of 120 pregnant women with breech presentation indicated by ultrasound who underwent regular antenatal examination in Pingxiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital were enrolled from April 2019 to April 2020. According to random number table method, they were divided into the observation group(n=60) and the control group (n=60). The observation group was given anterior inversion position combined with lateral release position for intervention, the control group was given routine knee-thorax lying position for intervention. The success rate of correction, normal delivery rate, spending time of breech position correction, intervention comfort and stage of labor between the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the success rate of correction and the normal delivery rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, spending time of breech position correction in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, intervention comfort in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and stage of labor in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The anterior inversion position combined with lateral release position for intervention can effectively correct breech presentation, increase normal delivery rate, shorten spending time of breech position correction, improve comfort and shorten stage of labor.
