Abstract:Objective To explore the application of perioperative nursing in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer.Methods Altogether 64 elderly patients who underwent laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer in our hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, 32 cases in each group.The observation group received perioperative nursing, and the control group adopted routine nursing.The pre-and post-treatment comfort,psychological status and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results Before nursing, no statistically significant difference was seen in the anxiety self-assessment scale (SAS) and depression self-assessment scale (SDS)scores between the two groups (P>0.05).After nursing, the SAS and SDS scores in observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistically significant differences in the social interest, social ability, personal hygiene, and depression scores between the two groups (P>0.05);the social interest, social ability, personal hygiene, and depression scores in observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in comfort score between the two groups (P>0.05);after nursing, the comfort score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Perioperative nursing shows significant effectiveness in elderly patients who underwent laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer, which can reduce psychological pressure, improve comfort and the quality of life, and deservd worthy of clinical promotion.
