Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of open wedge high tibial osteotomy(OWHTO)for positioning the lower limb mechanical force line.Methods A total of 104 patients with medial compartment osteoarthritis of knee joint admitted to Ganzhou People′s Hospital from March 2019 to December 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,52 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with OWHTO,lower extremity mechanical line localization was performed by traditional method in the control group,and improved method was used in the observation group.The surgical indicators,knee and ankle angle(HKA)and osteoarthritis index(WOMAC)were compared between the two groups.Results Comparison of intraoperative blood loss between the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The operation time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group ,and the number of intraoperative fluoroscopy was less than that of the control group ,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of HKA angle and WOMAC scores between the two groups before and one year after surgery,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);the HKA angle of the two groups was greater than that of the preoperative one year after surgery,and the WOMAC score was higher than that of the preoperative group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The improved method of positioning the mechanical force line of lower extremity is effective in OWHTO operation,which can shorten the operation time,avoid repeated fluoroscopy and reduce the radiation exposure of the operator and the patient.
