Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of oral muscle training combined with language cognition training on language rehabilitation in children with mental retardation.Methods Totally 41 children with mental retardation who were treated in our hospital from January 1,2016 to June 30,2019 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the control group (n=20) and the observation group (n=21) by random number table methods.Pediatric patients in the control group were treated with language cognitive training alone,and the observation group was treated with oral muscle training combined with language cognition training.The effect of language rehabilitation between the two groups was compared.Results After treatment,the score of language development quotient in the 0-7-year-old pediatric examination table of neuropsychological development in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of language performance development quotient and operational capability development quotient in the observation group were both much higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Oral muscle training combined with language cognition training can improve the language development quotient,language performance development quotient,and operational capability development quotient of children with mental retardation,which is helpful for the rehabilitation of the language function,and has high clinical application value.
