Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Lidocaine Ointment combined with Pregabalin Capsules in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia. Methods From January 2016 to July 2017,84 patients with postherpetic neuralgia were selected and randomly divided into single therapy group and combined therapy group,42 cases in each group. The single therapy group was treated with Lidocaine Ointment alone, and the combined therapy group was treated with Lidocaine Ointment combined with Pregabalin Capsules. The recovery rate of postherpetic neuralgia was compared between the two groups. The disappearance time of postherpetic neuralgia;degree of postherpetic neuralgia, mental health, social function and sleep status of patients before and after intervention were also compared. Results The recovery rate of postherpetic neuralgia in combination therapy group was higher than that in single therapy group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the degree of postherpetic neuralgia, mental health, social function and sleep, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The degree of postherpetic neuralgia, mental health level, social function and sleep status in the combined therapy group were better than those in the single therapy group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The disappearance time of postherpetic neuralgia was (15.51±1.41) d in combination therapy group, which was shorter than that in single therapy group of (24.42±2.77) d,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of Lidocaine Ointment combined with Pregabalin Capsules in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia is exact, which can effectively relieve pain, shorten the course of disease, accelerate the recovery of patients and promote the quality of life of patients, which is worth popularizing and applying.
