Abstract:Objective To investigate the comparison effect of total hip arthroplasty by SuperPATH approach and posterolateral approach.Methods The clinical data of 100 patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty treated in our hospital from December 2014 to December 2017 were analyzed.They were divided into the posterolateral approach group (n=50)and the SuperPATH approach group(n=50)according to different approach methods.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,length of incision,postoperative functional exercise time and timed up and go test(TUG)at different time points after operation were compared between two groups.ResultsThe operation time of the patients in the Super-PATH approach group was higher than that in the posterolateral approach group,the intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the posterolateral approach group,and the length of the incision and the postoperative functional exercise time were lower than those in the posterior lateral approach group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The TUG of patients in two groups after operation at 5,14,30,60 d were significantly shorter than that before operation,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The TUG of patients in the SuperPATH approach group after operation at 5,14,30,60 d were significantly shorter than those in the posterolateral app roach group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Total hip arthroplasty by Super PATH approach has the advantages of minimal invasion and rapid recovery,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
