Influence of addition and subtraction of Xiaoke Prescription combined with Metformin Tablets on HOMA-IR and hemorheology in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of addition and subtraction of Xiaoke Prescription combined with Metformin Tablets on HOMA-IR and hemorheology in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).MethodsNinety patients with T2DM (Qi-Yin deficiency)treated in our hospital from January 2015 to May 2017 were enrolled in the study and were grouped according to the random data table method,Forty-five patients in the control group were treated with Metformin tablets and Glimepiride to decrease the blood glocose,On this basis,forty-five patients in the observation group were combined with Xiaoke Prescription,and 12 weeks were a course of treatment.The clinical efficacy between the two groups was compared.ResultsAfter treatment,the fasting blood glucose (FBG),postprandial 2 h blood glucose and HOMA-IR level of the two groups were lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The fibrinogen (Fib)and D-dimer in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe effect of Xiaoke Prescription combined with Metformin Tablets in the treatment of T2DM is significant and can improve insulin resistance,regulate blood glucose level,and it is better than the use of western medicine alone,it is worth promoting.
