Effect of psychological nursing intervention on depressed mood and selfacceptance in patients with first-episode depression

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of psychological nursing intervention on depressed mood and self-acceptance in patients with first-episode depression.Methods 70 patients with first-episode depression who were admitted to our hospital from May 2014 to May 2016 were selected as the study subjects,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group,35 cases in each group.Control group was given routine treatment and nursing,while observation group was given psychological nursing intervention based on control group.The depressed mood,self-acceptance and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the score of HAMD in observation group[(21.21±5.04)points]was lower than that in control group[(25.11±6.12)points],while the scores of SAQ[(20.61±4.37),(21.54±3.47)points]were higher than control group [(18.45±4.20),(19.61±3.31)points],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction in observation group(91.43%)was higher than that in control group(71.43%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention can improve depressed mood,promote self-acceptance and achieve good nursing satisfaction,it is worth promoting application.
