Abstract：Discipline is the basic academic unit of the hospital,is the foundation of the construction and development of hospital.Construction of key discipline is an important measure to enhance the ability of scientific research and improve the quality of medical service.Strengthening the connotation construction of the hospital can significantly improve the soft power of the subject.The basis of the development of key discipline is based on full and complete connotation construction.Good department culture is conducive to strengthening the connotation construction of medical staff.Strengthening the connotation construction of the department,science and technology is the key.Construction of key discipline must take the high level talented person as the development core to orderly construct medical treatment,teaching,scientific research,management and so on key discipline content.Advanced medical equipment is the important embodiment of degree of high-tech content in modern medicine.Strengthening the connotation construction is conducive to promoting the development of key discipline in the department of urology surgery,mainly through cultural construction,technical construction,personnel construction and equipment construction to achieve.Walking the road of connotation construction,the key discipline of urology can follow the path of scientific development for sustainable and healthy development.
