By collecting,sorting out and analyzing typical cases of drug price monopoly in China from 2011 to 2020,this paper summarized the characteristics of current drug monopoly in China.Since China liberalized drug price control in 2005,the number of monopoly cases had increased.The monopoly subjects were mainly small and medium-sized enterprises,the bulk drug price monopoly was the majority,and the traditional abuse of dominant market position and horizontal monopoly agreements were the main monopolistic behaviors.The price monopoly of drug industry in China should adopt a variety of punishment mechanisms to deter the monopolist,increase the types of legal liability and strengthen the punishment,and strengthen the intervention of administrative subjects in monopoly behavior.
