Effect of graphene infrared ray combined with traditional Chinese medicine package for fistula nursing hot compress device on autologous arteriovenous fistula in hemodialysis patients |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of graphene infrared ray combined with traditional Chinese medicine package for fistula nursing hot compress device on autologous arteriovenous fistula (AVF) in hemodialysis patients.Methods Sixty patients using autologous AVF for hemodialysis who were admitted to Shangrao People′s Hospital from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected and divided into the control group (30 cases) and the observation group (30 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given graphene infrared ray combined with traditional Chinese medicine package for fistula nursing hot compress device nursing for 6 months. AVF maturation was compared between the two groups before nursing, after nursing for 1, 3 and 6 months. The degree of puncture pain (visual analogue scale [VAS])in different periods was also observed between the two groups. Results After nursing for 1, 3 and 6 months, the vascular inner diameters and blood flows in the observation group were greater than those in the control group, and the vascular sclerosis areas were smaller than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).VAS scores in the observation group after 1, 3 and 6 months of nursing were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P <0.05). Conclusion Graphene infrared ray combined with traditional Chinese medicine package for fistula nursing hot compress device can effectively improve the vascular diameter of autologous AVF in hemodialysis patients, improve the blood flow of hemodialysis patients, reduce the area of vascular sclerosis, and relieve the pain of hemodialysis.
