Objective To investigate the effect of glaucoma drainage device implantation in the treatment of glaucoma.Methods From January 2018 to January 2020,40 patients with primary open-angle glaucoma(60 eyes)treated in Fuzhou Ophthalmic Hospital were selected as the subjects.They were divided into the control group(18 cases,26 eyes)and the study group(22 cases,34 eyes)by the different operation methods.The control group were treated with trabeculectomy,and the study group was treated with glaucoma drainage implantation.The changes of intraocular pressure,best corrected visual acuity and macular fovea thickness before operation and 3 d,1,3,6 months after operation were analyzed.The surgical complications of the two groups were compared.Results The macular fovea thickness at 3 d,1 month after operation in the two groups were higher than those before operation(P＜0.05).However,there was no significant difference in macular fovea thickness between the two groups at different time points(P＞0.05).The intraocular pressure at different time points after operation in both groups was all lower than those before operation,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the intraocular pressure at different time points after operation between the two groups(P＞0.05).There was no significant difference in the best corrected visual acuity at different time points after operation and before operation in the two groups(P＞0.05),and there was no significant difference in the best corrected visual acuity between the two groups after operation different time points(P＞0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma,the effect of glaucoma drainage mplantation is similar to trabeculectomy,and its surgical complications are less,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
