Analysis on the situation of 140 strains of multidrug resistant bacteria in hospital and rational use of antibiotics for multidrug resistant bacteria infection |

Abstract Objective To analyze the distribution of clinical departments and rationality of antibiotics in Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University,in order to provide reference for the rational use of antibiotics for multidrug resistant bacteria infection.Methods A total of 140 patients with multidrug resistant bacterial infection hospitalized in Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University from July 15,2020 to February 3,2021 were selected as the research objects.The source of their specimens,composition ratio of multidrug-resistant bacteria and department distribution were analyzed,and the rationality of using antibiotics for multidrug resistant bacterial infection was evaluated and analyzed.Results A total of 140 strains of multidrug resistant bacteria were detected.The most multidrug resistant bacteria were detected in sputum samples,followed by mid-stream urine,wound secretions and blood.Gram-negative bacteria were the main pathogenic bacteria(68.57%),followed by Gram-positive bacteria(31.43%).There were 47 cases of irrational drug use,the rate of irrational drug use was 33.57%.Distribution of irrational use of antibiotics:unsuitable drug selection in 32 cases(68.09%),9 cases(19.15%)were not suitable for usage and dosage,3 cases(6.38%)were unsuitable for drug combination,inappropriate route of administration in 2 cases(4.26%),the course of treatment was too long in 1 case(2.13%).Conclusion The rate of irrational use of antibiotics for multidrug resistant bacteria infection in Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University is still high.For irrational use of drugs,the training of clinical rational use of antibiotics should be strengthened so as to promote the rational use of antibiotics infected by multidrug resistant bacteria.
