| Effect of Prednisone combined with Levofloxacin in the treatment of cervicitis |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Prednisone combined with Levofloxacin in the treatment of cervicitis.Methods From January 2018 to December 2019,100 patients with cervicitis in People′s Hospital of Yujiang District in Yingtan City,Jiangxi Province were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Levofloxacin,and the study group was treated with Prednisone combined with Levofloxacin.The clinical symptom relief time,efficacy,adverse reactions and inflammatory factor levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The urethral discomfort,abnormal secretion,pruritus vulvae and pain relief time of lower abdomen in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-10(IL-10)and interleukin-2(IL-2)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of hs-CRP,IL-10 and IL-2 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of hs-CRP,IL-10 and IL-2 in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of Prednisone combined with Levofloxacin in the treatment of cervicitis is more ideal,which should be further promoted in clinical application.
