| Effect of small incision thyroidectomy in the treatment of thyroid nodules and analysis of intraoperative bleeding |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of small incision thyroidectomy for the treatment of thyroid nodules and analyse intraoperative bleeding. Methods A total of 180 patients with with thyroid nodules admitted to Panjin Central Hospital from May 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group (90 cases) and the study group (90 cases) according to the alternate grouping method. The control group used traditional surgery, and the observation group used small incision resection. Total clinical efficacy, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative scar diameter, inflammatory index levels (tumor necrosis factor-α [TNF-α], interleukin-6 [IL-6]), reflux symptoms, voice disturbance index, and beauty satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in total clinical efficiency between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The intraoperative bleeding volume in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the postoperative scar diameter of the observation group was smaller than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the TNF-α and IL-6 levels of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of reflux symptom index and voice disturbance index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the beauty satisfaction in the observation group was higher than in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of thyroid nodule patients with small incision could achieve the ideal therapeutic effect. It is helpful to reduce intraoperative bleeding and stress response, reduce postoperative complications and improve aesthetic degree.
