The value of conventional two-dimensional ultrasound combined with ultrasonic elastography in the diagnosis of axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer |

Abstract Objective To investigate the value of two-dimensional ultrasound combined with ultrasonic elastography in the diagnosis of axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer.Methods A totalof 60 cases of breast cancer patients in our hospital from March 2014 to December 2016 were selected as research objects.78 identical axillary axillary lymph nodes were examined by conventional two-dimensional ultrasound (C2D-US),ultrasonic elastography (UE)and joint inspection,the results of pathological biopsy guided by ultrasound wereregardas the gold standard,the diagnostic results of C2D-US,UE and the joint inspection,were compared.Results Pathological biopsy revealed 35 benign lymph nodes and 43 malignant lymph nodes.The sensitivity of C2D-US,UE and C2D-US combined with UE was 74.29%,80.00%and 94.29%,respectively.The specificity was 79.07%,81.39%and 93.02%,respectively.The accuracy was 76.92%,80.77%and 93.59%,respectively.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of C2D-US combined with UE in the diagnosis of axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer was significantly higher than that of using single C2D-US or UE diagnosis,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of conventional two-dimensional ultrasound combined with ultrasonic elastography in the diagnosis of axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer can improve the diagnostic efficacy of axillary lymph nodes,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
