| Effect of Baduanjin exercise on cardiac function and quality of life in patients with heart failure after myocardial infarction |

Abstract Objective To study the effect of Baduanjin exercise on cardiac function and quality of life in patients with heart failure after myocardial infarction.Methods A total of 100 patients with cardiac function grade Ⅱor Ⅲafter myocardial infarction who were treated in the Honggutan Hospital,Jiangxi Provincial People′s Hospital were selected as subjects from September 2019 to September 2020,and the patients were divided into conventional group and combined group according to the random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.Conventional group was given conventional treatment and health education,and combined group was additionally given Baduanjin exercise on the basis of conventional group.The 6 min walking distance,left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and quality of life of the two groups were observed.Results There was no statistical significance in the 6 min walking distance between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).The 6 min walking test distance after intervention in both groups was longer than those before intervention,and the 6 min walking test distance after intervention in the combined group was longer than that in the conventional group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).Before intervention,there were no significant differences in LVESD,LVEDD and LVEF levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,the LVESD and LVEDD levels in the two groups were lower than those before intervention,and the LVESD and LVEDD levels in the combined group were lower than those in the conventional group,and the LVEF level in the combined group was higher than that in the conventional group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention,and the quality of life scores of the combined group after intervention were lower than those of the routine group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).Conclusion Baduanjin exercise can effectively enhance the quality of life,and improve the cardiac function and clinical symptoms of patients with heart failure after myocardial infarction.
