| Effect analysis of life skills training on hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenia |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of life skills training on hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenia.Methods A total of 80 patients with chronic schizophrenia who were admitted to Wu zhongwei Memorial Hospital from October 2017 to October 2018 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group (40 cases) and observation group (40 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional medicine, and the experimental group was treated with life skills training on the basis of the control group. The nurse observation scale (NOSIE) and the living ability scale (ADL), which consisted of the physical self-care scale (PSMS)and the instrumental activities of daily living scale (IADL),were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the positive factor score of NOSIE in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the negative factor score was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention, the PSMS and IADL scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Life skill training can improve the daily living ability and social function of hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenia, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
