佛山市基层医院助产工作现状及助产适宜技术的应用调查

Abstract Objective To investigate the status of midwifery work in primary hospitals in Foshan City and the application of appropriate technology for midwifery.Methods From January to December 2019,a questionnaire survey was made on the status of midwifery work and the application of appropriate technique for midwifery from 43 class-B and below primary hospitals in Foshan City.The Wenjuanxing questionnaire survey was used and sent to the head nurses of obstetric departments and senior responsible nurses designated by the head nurse in each primary hospital through WeChat to fill it out.Results Among the 43 primary hospitals,35(81.4%)hospitals needed to increase midwives.The rate of midwives receiving standardized training was 16.15%.There were 31(72.1%)carrying out free-position delivery,Lamaze breathing pain reduction 27(62.8%),SPA analgesia 20(46.5%),Doula accompany delivery 24(55.8%),free position delivery 23(53.5%),and water delivery 1(2.3%).The main reasons for not carrying out free postnatal preparation in 12 hospitals were lack of midwives,lack of training and lack of support from doctors.16 hospitals did not carry out Lamaze breathing pain relief mainly because of lack of midwives and lack of training.The main reasons for not carrying out hydrotherapy analgesia in 23 hospitals were lack of training and lack of support from doctors.29 did not carry out Doula accompanied delivery mainly because of the lack of midwives.The main reasons for not carrying out free position delivery in 20 hospitals were safety risks,lack of midwives,lack of training and lack of support from doctors.Safety concerns,lack of support from doctors and lack of training were cited as the main reasons for the failure of 42 water births.Conclusion A shortage of midwifery human resources in most of the primary hospitals in Foshan City is existed,which will increase the demand for midwives.The probability of midwives receiving standardized training is low,and the application rate of appropriate technique for midwifery is poor.It is necessary to update the concepts of managers and midwives,strengthen the standardized training for midwives,improve the service ability and competence of midwives,and promote the application of appropriate techniques for midwifery and natural delivery to ensure the safety of mothers and babies.
