Effect of high-quality nursing intervention in the prevention and treatment of cold patients |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of high-quality nursing intervention in the prevention and treatment of colds.Methods A total of 70 patients with cold admitted to Dandong traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from September 2018 to September 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The observation group was given high quality nursing,and the control group was given routine nursing.The time of symptom disappearance,immune index and respiratory infection were compared between the two groups.Results The time of disappearance of cough,fever,fatigue and sore throat in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ levels between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).After the intervention,the CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ levels of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the CD4+ and CD8+ levels of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention,the first respiratory tract infection time in the observation group was longer than that in the control group,and the total number of recurrence of respiratory tract infection within 3 months was less than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of high-quality nursing intervention in the prevention and treatment of colds could improve the immunity of patients,reduce the number of relapses,and speed up the recovery of symptoms.It is worthy of promotion.
