| Application effect of comfort nursing in the diagnosis and treatment of oral prosthodontics in elderly patients |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of comfortable nursing in the treatment of oral cavity repair in elderly patients.Methods A total of 102 patients with oral diseases admitted to Dalian Stomatological Hospital,Liaoning province from June 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into the control group(51 cases) and the observation group (51 cases) according to the lottery method.The control group received routine nursing and the observation group received comfort nursing.The diagnosis and treatment,nursing comfort and self-efficacy of the two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the observation group′s oral cavity repair knowledge mastery degree score was higher than that of the control group,the treatment time was shorter than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse events during diagnosis and treatment was lower than that of the control group,the comfort levels such as physiology,mentality and environment of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the self-efficacy of the observation group was stronger than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of comfort nursing in the oral repair diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients can effectively improve the patients′ grasp of oral repair knowledge,shorten the treatment time,reduce the incidence of adverse events during the diagnosis and treatment,improve their nursing comfort,strengthen the sense of self-efficacy.
