Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) assessment model in the standardized training of nurses.Methods A total of 100 standardized training nurses (referred to as nurses in regular training) admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from January to December 2018 were selected as the research objects.According to the lottery method,they were divided into observation group (50 cases) and control group (50 cases).The observation group was assessed by OSCE,and the control group was assessed by routine.The two groups′ professional ability scores and assessment method satisfaction were compared.Results The professional ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The satisfaction degree of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion OSCE assessment mode can improve the professional ability of nurses,and has high satisfaction with the assessment method,which is conducive to the clinical nursing work in the future.
