Influence of Mandala painting training on the rehabilitation of patients with postpartum depression |

Abstract Objective to explore the rehabilitation effect of Mandala drawing training on postpartum depression (PPD)patients.Methods A total of 80 PPD patients admitted to Ganzhou Third People′s Hospital,Jiangxi Province from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected,the patients were divided into the study group and the control group by random number table method,40 cases in each group.Two groups of patients were given routine treatment,the control group was given routine nursing,the study group was given training of drawing Mandala on the basis of the control group.Mental state,sense of happiness and nursing satisfaction of the two groups before and after intervention were compared.Results The scores of the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05);the study group was happy at 4 and 8 weeks after the intervention the GWB score was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05);the nursing total satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Mandala painting in the treatment of PPD is effective.It can effectively improve the depression and anxiety of patients,improve happiness and nursing satisfaction.It is worthy of clinical application.
