Abstract Delayed rupture of the spleen referred to all kind of spleen rupture being injuried,which presented as injured splenic subcapular hematoma,or slow bleeding with little gap under the spleen capsule,or not bleeding temporarily because of blood coagulation.The phenomenon of intraperitoneal hemorrhage only appears under certain inducement.The spleen in physiological state is soft and brittle,which is prone to rupture and bleeding due to critical impact.The spleen in pathological state is more likely to rupture due to enlargement and brittleness.Due to its untypical clinical manifestations,hidden symptoms,the diagnosis of delayed rupture of spleen was difficult or even turned out wrong,directly causing the treatment to be delayed.This paper analyzed one case of cerebral hemorrhage with delayed rupture of spleen being understood the etiology,pathogenesis and current diagnosis.So as to better serve the clinical.
