Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of intensive lipid-lowering in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods Eighty-five patients with ACI who were treated in the Liaoyang Central Hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research subjects for retrospective analysis.Forty-two patients treated with conventional treatment plus conventional dose of Atorvastatin were included in a control group,43 patients who received conventional treatment plus intensive lipid-lowering were included in an observation group. Both groups were treated continuously for four weeks. The clinical effect of the two groups was compared, and the serum inflammatory factors and blood lipid levels were observed. Results The total effective efficiency of observation group (95.35%) was higher than that of control group (78.57%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP),total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) between the two groups (P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the levels of CRP,TC and TG in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of CRP,TC and TG in observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Intensive lipid-lowering therapy is effective for patients with ACI,which is beneficial to alleviate the inflammatory response, lower blood lipid levels and improve clinical efficacy.
