| Effect of laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy for common bile duct exploration in the treatment of patients with recurrent common bile duct stones and its influence on the body′s stress response |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy for common bile duct exploration in the treatment of patients with recurrent common bile duct stones and its influence on the body′s stress response.Methods A total of 40 patients with recurrent common bile duct stones admitted to Dongguan Marina Bay Center Hospital from December 2015 to October 2019 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,the control group (n=20) and the observation group (n=20).The control group underwent traditional open surgery,and the observation group underwent laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy for common bile duct exploration.The surgical efficacy,stress response and incidence of complications of patients in the two groups were observed.Results The success rate of stone retrieval and stone removal rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the stone recurrence rate was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of cortisol,angiotensin Ⅱand norepinephrine between the two groups before operation (P＞0.05).The stress response index levels of the two groups at 3 days after operation were lower than those of this group before operation,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The stress response index levels in the observation group at 3 days after operation were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (15.00% vs.45.00%),and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy for common bile duct exploration in patients with recurrent common bile duct stones can improve the surgical efficacy and reduce the stress response of the patients,and the patients have fewer complications,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
