Abstract Objective To explore the effect of nutritional software of traditional Chinese medicine combining with Western medicine (NCCW) in improving the nutritional status of patients with diabetic nephropathy.Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetic nephropathy in the outpatient and inpatient clinics of Yidu Central Hospital in Weifang City from March to September 2019 were selected as the research subjects,and they were divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table methods,50 cases in each group.Two groups of patients were given the same drug treatment,the observation group was given NCCW diet intervention on this basis.After 14 weeks,the improvement of serum total protein (TP),albumin (Alb),prealbumin (PA),transferrin (TRF),body weight,body protein and body cell mass were compared between the two groups.Results The nutritional indexes of TP,Alb,PA,TRF and body weight,body protein and body cell mass in the analysis report of body composition of the two groups after dietary intervention were higher than those before intervention,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).After intervention,the levels of TP,Alb,TRF,PA,body weight,body protein and body cell mass quantity of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion NCCW adjuvant therapy can improve the nutritional status of patients with diabetic nephropathy.
