| Effect of oxytocin on induced labor in pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes during full-term pregnancy |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of oxytocin on induced labor in pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes during full-term pregnancy.Methods A total of 82 pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes during full-term pregnancy admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Jinpu New District from October 2018 to August 2020 were selected as the research subjects,and were divided into the control group(41 cases)and the observation group(41 cases)by the random number table method.The pregnant women in the control group were treated with intravenous drops of oxytocin for labor induction,and the pregnant women in the observation group were treated with small doses of oxytocin injection at acupoints for labor induction.The incidences of complications,oxytocin use in pregnant women,cervical score,postpartum blood loss,total length of labor,Apgar score and neonatal weight were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The duration of oxytocin instillation and the total labor duration in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The oxytocin instillation amount in the observation group was less than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in postpartum blood loss between the two groups(P＞0.05).The cervical score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The Apgar score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in neonatal weight between the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion Low dose acupoint injection of oxytocin in pregnant women with full-term premature rupture of membrane for labor induction can reduce the usage of oxytocin,reduce the occurrence of complications in pregnant women and fetus,and has a significant effect on improving Apgar score of newborn infants,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
